My name is Markus, and I originally trained as a cutting machine operator. Even back then, I had a keen interest in technology, whether it be hardware or software related topics. In 2022, I took the plunge into the field of IT and quickly realized that I particularly enjoy software topics, especially those related to web development. Consequently, since the beginning of 2024, I have been furthering my education in this area.
I am always eager to learn new and better ways of writing more efficient and clean code. Additionally, I highly value collaborating with others to share and expand knowledge. My primary goal is to create something beautiful and innovative in collaboration with others.
if( I'm not in front of a computer screen, ){ I enjoy travelling with friends and getting to know new ....}
In this time, I trained as a cutting machine operator at Voith and successfully completed my training.
I started at Voith as a gear cutter. I manufactured gears of a few centimeters in length up to 3 meters with the highest precision. Towards the end, I worked in Group-wide tool management.
I worked as a system administrator at the KJF Alpenklinik Santa Maria, during which time I greatly expanded my software and hardware skills. I was responsible for the maintenance of servers and the telephone system, as well as managing clients, the Active Directory and patch management.
I am one of the co-founders of Dreamfly-Events UG, which specializes in organizing various events. At the beginning of 2024 our first evening event took place and in June the YumeKai will take place, this is a weekend convention.
In January 2024, I started my further training as a web developer at Neuefische. There I expanded my existing knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript as well as React and Node.js.
This is a part of my previous projects, including this portfolio website but also a website of a star wars fan group of which I am a member. And also various browser games with and without backend.
This is my portfolio website on which I present myself. To create the website I used HTML, CSS and some JavaScript. There is not much to say, just make your own impression of the site.
This is one of my first websites with a responsive design that is optimized for various browser widths as well as smartphones. Additionally, the website also features a sticky menu and some pictures and a video link to website.
My 2048 clone is my own version of the mobile game 2048. In this game you have to stack as many equal blocks as possible by pushing them into each direction, after each move a new block will always appear in a random place. In my version you can choose between different game sizes, for each size there is a separate highscore which is stored in a SQL database. This highscore input and output is realized by a Node.js server. The game also has an audio player for background music and a light and dark mode.
Pokedex is a website that displays the original 151 Pokemon. The data and images are loaded from a database via JSON's, since the database is not very performant.On the website you can then see all Pokemons on cards including picture. If you click on this card, you will see all the values of the respective Pokemon link to website.
Miningmark-Industry is my first self-programmed browser game. It is an Idle-Clicker Game, which runs in the browser without a backend. The game runs exclusively with HTML, CSS, JavaScript. I used Bootswatch for the design. The Local-Storage are used to save the game progress. This happens automatically, but you can also export your game progress to a txt file and import it again. You can also choose between different display options in the menu, e.g. dark or light mode and a few others. Unfortunately this game is only available in German link to website
